Vanessa Santato -
(Artist, Colorist, and Writer of Pleasure Bon Bon)
Hello, my name is Vanessa Santato and I write, draw, ink and color the Pleasure
Bon Bon comics on this website. I was born in 1977 in Rome, Italy, where
I actually live. And drawing has been my main passion and interest since I
was a little baby, even if I did my first comic pages only at 15, my first
characters always been furries, after getting struck by the wonderful
animated furry series "Around the world in 80 days with Willy Fogg" , that
anime/cartoon with Willy Fogg, the lion and such...
You couldn't imagine that at the age of 10 I drew my first furry character:
Mary Blue! Right after watching that splendid Anime whose characters were
furries dressed in the victorian style! I liked Rigadon, the butler, a lot,
so I drew up Mary, making up the sequel of the story, in which Willy Fogg's
nephew got into town, and Rigadon fell in love with her... I would never
have figured that after all these years Mary would be published! In the year
1996 I wrote on a diary of mine the romantic script of Pleasure Bon Bon...
not in an erotic key yet. You can see an image of Mary and "Wilson" as they
were then in my art gallery! They sure weren't as pretty as they are now!
Betty was born in the 1994 when I drew my first furry comic called "Basil:
search for the Red Dragon", a sequel of "Basil the great mouse detective",
in which Betty was an archeologist studying the chinese antiquities! You can
see the first drafts of Betty in my gallery as well. You'll notice how the
characters of Pleasure Bon Bon go back quite a few years and their style
evolved and improved with the passion and the hope of seeing my characters
published someday! As for Violet, she was born in the 1998 and originally
was supposed to be an opponent for Dillinger Derringer, heroine of the my
(non erotic) comic of the same name, that I published on my own in Italy.
In Italy I'm known as the first italian furry author and I published many
furry works, I participate since 1998 to the italian comic conventions with
my works, both comics and crafts; someday I hope I'll be able to show you
Dillinger's adventures on this site, and I'd love to add to this site the
story of how this comic was born and the early sketches from the 1993 up to
now! I chose to attend the art schools of my city because I wanted to become
a comic artist and in class I met Marco, the love of my life: we're together
since 1994 and I owe him a lot. He's got a great talent and helps me to put
together Bon Bon's pages; anyway, now I'll explain how our work is carried
out.
I write the story and draw the pages in pencil, when I'm done Marco corrects
my mistakes in the anatomy of the characters - mainly in the male bodies -,
then I ink everything and scan, giving the page a thorough cleanup. I choose
the colors and Marco colors the bases with flat colors: afterwards I
complete the coloring with shadows, touch-ups and effects. Later I put in
the balloons, but beforehand I send the texts in italian to Martin A. Day
that translates for me the dialogs in english. Finally, Ronald gets the page
and updates the site making all of us happy!
I truly need a week to draw a page of Bon Bon, everything that you read is
made in real time, and beyond the comic we try to give to you also gorgeous
pin-ups and extras. Now you know that what we offer you is the result of
tiring, really professional work. I want to thank all the readers that
followed us and support this comic, and also Ronald for believing in me and
giving me this opportunity.
I hope you'll keep following us!
By the way, my favorite character in Bon Bon is surely William!

Martin A. Day -
(Translation Editor and Writer of Vixine Classic Comics)
Well, here we go. Martin A. Day: who is this weird beaked fella, and
why is he translating for Pleasure Bon Bon? Easy to answer, to both
questions, so let’s start.
I’m a furry (well, mostly) writer from Rome, with a platypus image (I
like platypi. So sue me.). Of course, my REAL name isn’t Martin… but I
like to keep that piece of info for myself.
I started quite a while ago… Heck, I can’t remember a day when I wasn’t
dreaming of making comics or writing, even from an early age. Sadly,
dreaming and doing are different things… Therefore, I kept to myself
and filled book after book with relatively nonsensical characters.
Then, three things happenned:
1) I started roleplaying, thanks to my cousin giving me his D&D set
(a million thanks, cuz!): that made me understand the need for fleshing
up a character, lest he or she stay a duo-dimensional thing with a
silly look;
2) While surfing online, I found my first furry site, and I was hooked.
It was my thing, all right! Mind you, I still like writing ‘bout
humans, it’s just that furries, just like fantasy races, are basically
endless in form and function…
3) I met Serena, and through her Federico and later Vanessa… Artists,
and good ones too. Mind you, Vanessa goes beyond simply “good”: she is
a pro, born and bred. Anyway, together with Federico, I put together my
first real comic, “Paws for Thought”, a little zany comic strip (don’t
bother looking for it, it’s gone)… and later “Neko-chan’s tiny world”
(drawn by Serena), and finally my mind baby, one of the few things I’m
really, really proud of: VIXINE.
(Little side note: for Vixine I have to extend my thanks to Ronald
Trang, our editor, webmanager, and overall victim of our artistic
quirks, who is always ready to extend a friendly hand and believe in
someone. And that’s saying quite a lot.)
Well, long story short, We went on with Vixine for quite a while, then
for personal reason the comic was concluded. Oh well… I wrote some
other comics for Ronald – little one-shots and the like – and then
Vanessa, which had been in contact for quite a while and that I had
respected and admired as a fellow comic-maker, called up. She was
starting this pretty little site, and needed someone to translate her
dialogs to English. Of course, I said yes. And the rest is history…
Mind you, that doesn’t mean that I have stopped writing: all the
opposite! Try stopping me, if you can!
Well, anyway, my favorite character in Bon Bon is Mary: what can I say,
I have a weak spot for naive girls with a cute demeanor!

Ronald Trang -
(Supreme Ruler of the Universe- Well Not Really. ) Greetings
Pleasure Bon Bon Fans! First-- I want to thank all our
members for being members! I'm always grateful and appreciative of
membership support, because without you guys our website would not be
in existence for this long! Second-- I guess you all want to know who I
am
since you've read this far down the page! So here goes... I'm the
webmaster and programmer
for PleasureBonBon.com (and various other fun websites). I do all the
technical (boring stuff) behind the scenes.
(including all the html page updates.)
Currently, I'm an internet entrepreneur based in LA, California (USA).
Everybody else here are all from Italy except for me! I grew up in
Virginia (USA) and went to UVA (University of Virginia). I have a
bachelors of science degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I used
to work for Government Defense Consulting Agencies doing "wargame"
simulations
and weapons assessment before becoming a professional Games Developer.
I love playing computer games!!! I used to work for Kesmai Corporation
(GameStorm) which got bought out by EA (Electronic Arts). After that I
did independent games development for other companies and for myself.
The things I did at Kesmai Corporation were fun Massive Multiplayer
Online Games such as
AirWarrior3, Steller Emperor, Legends of Kesmai, and various others. I
really enjoy making
fun games! I used to play Magic the Gathering, and other trading card
games! (And roleplaying)
I'm right now working on saving and making as much money as I can from
my website business so I can someday hire a big team of programmers and
artists to help me create the ultimate game online! My dream is to have
a company that creates cool games for people to interact with each
other! Last-- I met Vanessa through working with Federico, Martin, and
Serena from Vixine.com,
where I first learned of the Furry world. I didn't know what Furry was
until I met Federico and Martin! It wasn't something I was initially
interested in or understand- but after reading Vixine and Pleasure Bon
Bon comics- I really dig Furries stuff and appreciate it! Vanessa did a
great job with making the world of
Pleasure Bon Bon come to life. Betty is probably my most favorite
character of all the Bon Bon characters.
Thank you for reading my bio! If you have questions or suggestions feel
free to email me. And Many Thanks again for being a Fan!
